Parents or guardians of children 18 years and younger can pick up a food bag or box, including seven (7) days of food to cover a week of breakfast and lunch meals for each child in their home that is not receiving meals in a summer learning program.

No-cost meals will be served Monday – Friday to all children age 18 and under from May 26 – July 10, 2026.

On Friday, May 22, 2026, Dobyns-Bennett High School will celebrate the Class of 2026! The live stream will begin at 7:45 PM.

Through the program, Chandler Johnson received a full four-year scholarship valued at approximately $325,000.

A total of 29 students from Dobyns-Bennett High School and D-B EXCEL were recognized for their academic achievements by Northeast State Community College.

The Dobyns-Bennett High School Art Department is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of its students at “ArtEx 2026.” “ArtEx” is a regional art exhibition held at the Bristol Public Library in Bristol, Virginia and is sponsored by Bristol's Art in Public Places organization. The exhibit culminated in an awards ceremony on Saturday, May 9th, where Dobyns-Bennett students took home numerous honors.

The Dobyns-Bennett High School faculty and staff are excited to welcome all Rising 9th Grade students to Dobyns-Bennett! We are pleased to announce we have modified the Freshman Orientation process to improve the experience and better acclimate students to high school. Students will learn about Dobyns-Bennett through building tours, discuss the importance of getting to know your school counselors and schedule assistance, tips and tricks for success and a spotlight on CTE, STEM, and the many extracurricular opportunities at Dobyns-Bennett.
