Dr. Kelley Harrell was named KCS Principal of the Year and Andy Arnold was named KCS Supervisor of the Year. District-level Teachers of the Year include Catherine Hincke, Lynna Bingham, and Bryan Kerns.

Dobyns-Bennett's Band was named winner of the "Large High School Division" in the competition and "Fan Favorite" totaling $25,000.

Sarah Good has been named head coach for the Unified Track and Field team at Dobyns-Bennett High School. In addition to those duties, Good will also oversee Special Olympics - Track, and Tribe Games Track and Field day.
