Last weekend the D-B Dramahawks competed in the State Speech and Drama League Tournament at Jefferson County High School. State Champions include Joshua Whitaker, Carter Berry, Eleanor Voigt, Benjamin Pitman, and Lucy Terranova in Interpreters Theatre and Nathan Anderson and Benjamin Pitman as Repeat State Champions in Duet Acting Improvisation. Overall the team placed 13 times in their individual and group events.

Current 10th and 11th-graders who are planning on taking classes with Northeast State next year, please come to the STEM building with your laptop, social security number, and ID to sign up for your classes. They will be in the theatre side, middle level corner on April 28th and 29th. Come during a block time that works for you.

The D-B Dramahawks qualified 14 individual events and all three of their group events to State, which will compete on Friday and Saturday, April 24 and 25.

A Senior Banner can be signed as well as college merch and refreshments! This happens May 4 and 5 during Senior Lunch from 12:48pm - 1:16pm in the STEM Lobby!

The called meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at 6 p.m. (prior to the scheduled work session).

The Anne Dallas Dudley Awards focus on increasing voter registration in Tennessee among students who will be 18 or older on or before the next election.

The performance at the 67th Annual Tennessee Music Education Association Conference will take place on April 10, 2026 located in Nashville.
