Summertime Opportunities at Tennessee College of Applied Technology 

 
The summer term for all dual enrollment programs begin June 1st and ends July 29th; with a break June 22-July 3.
Students can dual enroll as a ½ or a whole day student in the summer.  Morning ½ day is 7:30-11:30 Monday thru Thursdays and afternoon ½ day is 12-3:30 Monday thru Thursdays. If attending all day the schedule is 7:30-3:30 Monday thru Thursday (a 30 minute lunch is 11:30-12).    The deadline for TCAT Summer dual enrollment classes is May 8, 2026.

Phlebotomy - 1 full day of attendance is required (Monday - Thursday) and Thursday night 4:30 - 8:30; Elizabethton campus
EKG - 1 full day of attendance is required (Monday - Thursday) and Thursday night 4:30 - 8:30; Elizabethton campus

Drone Class - D-B students 16 years old will receive a drone license after passing the exams.

The Career Counseling Center is located in the Lobby of the Career and Technical Education Building.  The Purpose of the Career Counseling Center is to provide support to the academic programs at D-B, assisting students with information regarding post secondary educational opportunities, administering and interpreting career assessment tools.
