Coach Zach Fleming has been selected as the NHSSCA 2022 Tennessee High School Strength Coach of the Year, Region 1 Southeast.

The goal of KCS Parent University is to address certain challenges families face by providing information to educate, empower, and connect with resources either within KCS or within the Kingsport community.

KCS will live stream an online family engagement event featuring Dr. C. Buddy Creech, Director, Vanderbilt Vaccine Research Program on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 7 p.m. on the Kingsport City Schools YouTube Channel (KPTSchools).

After Dr. Creech's information session, Dr. Jeff Moorhouse will moderate a question and answer discussion with Dr. Creech.

Nine (9) D-B students have been named as Commended Students in the 67th Annual 2022 National Merit® Scholarship Program.

KCS has achieved the top composite score of 5 in TVAAS in the areas of system-wide literacy, system-wide numeracy, system-wide literacy and numeracy, and the overall system-wide composite score.
