KCS is one of 41 districts across TN to earn Level 5 distinction for the 2021-2022 school year and one of 23 districts across TN that scored a Level 5 for both the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years.

In response to a growing trend observed in our community, KCS is alerting our students and families to the presence and dangers of medicated candies and consumables infused with Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

The meetings are held at the KCS Administrative Support Center.

D-B is ranked as the #23 public high school in the state of Tennessee (out of 353 high schools).

This honor recognizes high school Strength and Conditioning programs that operate at the highest level of professionalism.

The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss student wellness programs as well as plan for any areas of improvement for the next school year.

Dr. Kyle Loudermilk was named Principal of the Year and Dr. Brian Cinnamon was named Supervisor of the Year. District-level Teachers of the Year include, Melissa Rivers, Lisa Bratton, and Amanda Blackburn.
