KCS Postpones 2020-21 Pre-K Screening & Kindergarten Registration

KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Kingsport City Schools has postponed 2020-2021 Pre-K Screening and Kindergarten Registration (originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2020) until further notice due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). A new date for the events has yet to be determined. 
 
 
Pre-Kindergarten Screening: Only Kingsport residents with children four (4) years of age on or before August 15, 2020 are eligible for Pre-Kindergarten screening. For more information on Pre-K Screening, please contact the Palmer Early Learning Center at (423) 378.2160 or click the “Registration” icon found on the homepage at k12k.com.   
 
Kindergarten Registration: Only Kingsport residents with children five (5) years of age on or before August 15, 2020 are eligible for Kindergarten. Parents/guardians must register at the school zoned for their residence; only parents or legal guardians may complete student registration documentation. To learn the school for which your child is zoned, please refer to the Kingsport Street Directory listed under the “Registration” icon found on the homepage at k12k.com.
