The Dobyns-Bennett High School faculty and staff are excited to welcome all Rising 9th Grade students to Dobyns-Bennett! We are pleased to announce we have modified the Freshman Orientation process to improve the experience and better acclimate students to high school.
Students will learn about Dobyns-Bennett through building tours, discuss the importance of getting to know school counselors and schedule assistance, tips and tricks for success, a spotlight on CTE and STEM, and the many extracurricular opportunities at Dobyns-Bennett.
Freshman Orientation will be held two consecutive days, either 8-11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., in the months of June and July.
2023 session dates are:
- June 5-6
- June 7-8
- June 12-13
- June 14-15
- June 19-20
- June 21-22
- June 26-27
- June 28-29
- July 10-11
- July 12-13
We would like all Rising 9th Grade students to attend and are asking families to sign-up using the Google Form provided below. Take note, orientation is for students only. Parents/Guardians will drop off and pick up their student in the front of the Dobyns-Bennett Pridemore Theatre at the circle to the left of the school's main entrance.
