WHAT: Dobyns-Bennett High School Alumni Association Painting Unveiling Reception

WHERE: Dobyns-Bennett High School Alumni Hall Fieldhouse - Lobby (Indian Court, Kingsport)

The Dobyns-Bennett High School Alumni Association will honor the family of Charles David Broome with a painting unveiling for their gift of "The Days of Glory, Ole D-B'' painted by Lorraine Brewer, entrusted to the D-B Alumni Association. The unveiling will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10 a.m. located at the D-B Alumni Hall Fieldhouse - Lobby and a light reception will follow.
"The Days of Glory, Ole D-B" painting is given in loving memory of Charles David Broome, Dobyns-Bennett Class of 1967, by his wife Harriet Broome Helton and his children Robert Broome, Melissa Broome, and Teresa Broome Aton. "The Days of Glory, Ole D-B'' will be permanently displayed in the D-B Alumni Hall Fieldhouse for all to see.
The unveiling reception is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. 
The Broome family will also be recognized during pre-game festivities before the D-B Football Homecoming Game on Friday, September 17, 2021.
