Dear Parents/Guardians:

On behalf of the D-B PTSA, I would like to thank you for the incredible support you provide to the students and staff at Dobyns-Bennett High School.  Parents and guardians play a crucial role in the success of our school community and we thank you for being among the very best! 

The purpose of this email is to make you aware of several opportunities sponsored by the D-B PTSA.  Specifically, this includes our annual membership drive and opportunities to sign up to volunteer throughout the coming year.

Membership Drive:

PTSA serves as the largest student advocacy organization in our country. Your membership supports this effort. We know our parents/guardians are incredibly active in many of our booster organizations and those organizations could not flourish as they do without you. We also know you give in many ways.  For that reason, the  annual membership/partnership drive is the only fundraiser the D-B PTSA conducts.  

Partnership donations fund teacher and staff grants to help offset some of the expenses of educating our students above and beyond what is covered by the regular school budget.  100% of the partnership donations go to classroom projects/activities and are tax deductible.  We invite you to consider joining the D-B PTSA for single member of your family and making a partnership donation above and beyond that if you are inclined to do so. 

The application is attached.  You can complete the application and mail or return it to the school office or you can scan the QR Code on the application with the camera app on your smartphone.  Scanning the QR code is a paperless process for paying the membership fee or making a donation.  

Volunteer Opportunities:

We have a variety of opportunities throughout the year that require volunteer support.  Parental support allows these activities to function smoothly and efficiently and are always to the benefit of our students and teachers.  Some of these include: test proctoring, assisting with student registration or serving on the PTSA Board.  Click here for the volunteer interest form to this email.  Please fill it out and return it if you are interested in volunteering with any of the activities listed.  Completing the form does not obligate you to participate, but rather, puts you on a list for possible consideration.
