Kingsport City Schools is excited to offer a professional networking opportunity for district leaders from across the region. The Summit is organized around three questions: How do we create a plan for where we want to go? How do we lead the work in a school? How do we engage the community and keep the focus on students? Principals, assistant principals, instructional coaches, coordinators, supervisors, and directors from across the region will join together to expand their knowledge of how strategic planning and leadership practices influence district decisions. Participants will explore strategies for achieving district goals and how strategic planning and visioning processes can be implemented to foster organizational change.
The event will include opportunities to explore examples of strategic planning, visioning, implementing change processes, and assessing current levels of work. Special breakout sessions to support planning for next steps, coordinating and developing community partnerships, and networking with colleagues in similar leadership positions will also be included.
